Privacy Policy
What we store
Account: your callsign, when you signed up, and when you confirmed your age and accepted the terms.
Sign-in: your Discord user ID. We don't receive your email or keep your Discord name.
Sessions: a random token in a cookie. We store a hash of it with its start, last-use and expiry times.
Game data: your progress in the game. Other players see the parts the game shows them.
Logs: errors, including your IP address and browser details.
Why
Running the game: necessary to provide the service you signed up for.
Security and fixing problems, including logs: our legitimate interests.
Cookies
One cookie keeps you signed in; two short-lived ones are used while signing in. No advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. Our pages load nothing from other servers.
Who else sees it
Discord, when you sign in with it (Discord's privacy policy). No one else, unless the law requires it. We never sell your data or use it for advertising.
How long we keep it
Account and game data: until you delete your account.
Sessions: until you sign out, or 30 days after last use.
Unfinished sign-ups: 30 minutes.
Logs: about 30 days.
Backups: up to six months.
Your rights
Download or delete your data on your account page. Deleting removes your account, sign-in methods and sessions immediately, and from backups as they expire. For anything else, including corrections, email privacy@stellarconflicts.com; we reply within a month. In the EU or UK you can complain to your data protection authority.
Children
You must be 13 or older, and at least the age of digital consent where you live. We delete accounts of younger players.
Changes
We update this page and its date before changing what we collect or why, and announce significant changes in the game.
